You made it here because you want to try out some tapping. Good. So many self-abandonment behaviors are rooted in subconscious beliefs that you are not quite okay. That’s not something you can reason your way out of, but tapping is the tool that can get down underneath your reasoning brain.
You can do your first round of tapping in the next few minutes — no experience required, nothing to memorize.
Scroll down to watch a video where I’ll show you the tapping points and take you through a short tapping sequence.
Keep the points handy
Here’s a printable tapping card with all the points. Print it out and keep it somewhere you’ll see it — on the fridge, in a drawer, tucked in your book. It’s there for the moments you want to tap and don’t feel like pulling up the video again.

What tapping actually is
EFT stands for Emotional Freedom Techniques. You lightly tap with your fingertips on specific points on your face and upper body while talking out loud about whatever’s bothering you. That’s it. It works with both your mind and your body at the same time.
Here’s the part that makes it click for most people: your subconscious doesn’t understand words. It runs on something older than language. Think of it as your operating system — and like any operating system, it’s running programs that got installed a long time ago, many of them before you were seven years old. Since so many of these old programs don’t serve you anymore, tapping can get in there and update them.
Why it works
When you’re stressed, your brain floods your body with cortisol — the fight-or-flight hormone. That response was built to save you from genuine danger, and it still does. The trouble is your brain can’t tell the difference between a real emergency and a rough email from your boss. It sounds the alarm either way.
Tapping on these points sends a signal that there’s no tiger in the room. The cortisol drops. And as it drops, you get access again to the calmer, more creative part of your brain — the part that can actually think a problem through.
You can’t get it wrong
Tapping isn’t a complicated system you have to study before it “works.” You can’t do it wrong. You have it with you wherever you go — no equipment, nothing to buy, always available.
One note: tapping is remarkably safe and non-invasive. But if your tapping surfaces something big — a charged or traumatic memory — that’s a sign to do that deeper work with a trained practitioner rather than alone.
Tap along with me
I’ll show you where the points are, then we’ll do a short round together on whatever stress you’re carrying right now. Just follow along. You don’t need to get it perfect — you just need to tap.
